Looking to learn how to motivate and lead while getting valuable, hands-on experience across sales & marketing, customer service, finance and operations If you answered yes, then our newly launched 1-year Sales Management Program is for you. This role is challenging and full of opportunity, as we look to develop diverse and inspirational future sales leaders. Our expanding business in North America makes it an exciting time to join our team. The program provides the opportunity to gain "real world" business experience as a Sales Territory Manager. Throughout our program you would support our sales force in driving sales and providing seca solutions to partners and customers. Don't have knowledge in medical measuring and weighing No problem. Product education and sales training will be provided, but you will need to be ambitious, flexible, hardworking and passionate about becoming a future sales business leader with seca. ---Sales Management Program --- You will undertake extensive training in all facets of seca and gain frontline experience with our products, customers and business. The skills you learn will be invaluable and a vital part of your future success. The program also includes interaction with our corporate headquarters in Hamburg, Germany which will broaden your international business network and intercultural competence. Additionally, in the Sales Management Program you will be mentored by a seca Senior Sales Director. They will continuously coach you to further improve your professional skill set as well as your personal development and advise you in the context of individual career planning. Developing your skill set During the first six months of your training, you will gain vital hands-on experience and insights into the structure and processes of our North American Office. You will spend time learning about the daily workflow and responsibilities of each department and how they interact together. Within the first months you will receive a detailed initial training of vital business skills, including product and market knowledge, selling, presentation, and negotiation skills. As well as sales coaching to deepen your theoretical knowledge and practical skill set. This gives you the opportunity to get to know our internal processes better and make valuable contacts and extend your business network. After this initial training period, you will start your practical field sales training with an experienced Senior Sales Director. You will visit our dealer partners and customers -hospitals, physician offices, etc. where you will apply your knowledge by demonstrating and selling our wide range of medical products. Applying your skill set In the next six months, you will be given the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge gained during your training period. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for managing your own sales territory and accounts. This includes the expansion of market share through the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies with our partners and customers. In order to strengthen our market leadership in North America, you will need to convert new business and maintain our existing customer base. During this time, you will continue to receive support and guidance from our Senior Sales Director to assist in your professional development. You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and further expand it in various challenging sales environments. This includes preparing and conducting sales pitches and providing training on the seca brand. You will also be attending trade shows and exhibitions, workshops and networking opportunities to provide seca solutions to existing and potential customers. This role is fundamental in further developing you into your future role. Future role(s): After having successfully completed the Sales Management Program we will promote and encourage your individual development within our company. Our aim for you is to continue to develop your skills and sales leadership abilities. This will lead into the next role, which may potentially include - Sales Manager or Account Manager. Future opportunities and career paths within seca North America can reach from Key Account Manager or Territory Sales Manager, to Regional Sales Manager or Sales Office Manager with your own sales team up to National Sales Manager or Sales Director. What is required Your qualifications/job requirements - What you will need to begin your journey with seca: Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and the eligibility to work permanently in the USAA Bachelor's degree is required - ideally in business, marketing or engineeringPractical experience in Sales / Marketing through internships or student work activitiesesults-driven mind-set and ready to go after measurable goalsStrong public speaking and communication skills are requiredHigh customer orientationSelf-confident manner and a convincing personalityAffinity for innovative technologies and ITVery good analytical skills, strategic and entrepreneurial thinkingHigh flexibility and resilience - must be able to work on weekends and after office hoursTo develop your career into more senior roles, you must be willing to travel/potentially relocate throughout the United States This job will require you to pass a background check Full Medical, Dental and Vision benefits provided along with a 401k plan. Compensation range from $60,000.00 to $100,000.00 /year No capped commission.
