standards-based supplemental curriculum will close gaps and ensure
growth for all students. The Business Development Representative is
responsible for all activities required to generate leads and set
appointments (demos) from our list of contacts/accounts. LOCATION:
This role is a full-time, in-office position based in Allen, TX .
Candidates must be able to work on-site Monday through Friday
during standard business hours. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct
outbound prospecting activities: maintaining regular outbound phone
outreach to schools and school districts following a provided list
of contacts in his/her assigned territory, with ~70-90 phone calls
per day; experiment with different messages, cadences, and
techniques to improve demo schedule and completed demo rates.
Provide a basic product description to prospects: answer questions
and provide product information in advance of scheduling a demo.
Schedule demos with prospective customers: schedule appointments,
providing supporting material where required. Support demos as
needed to hit targets: work closely with the Account Executive or
Field Sales Executive within the assigned territory to assist them
in their territory plan. Operate with the highest integrity. As a
front-line representative of our company, this role is responsible
for acting professionally, honestly, and in accordance with our
company handbook. Assist management as needed with projects that
impact overall company goals. Other duties as assigned. This
position will be evaluated based on the following: Prospecting
volume: ~70-90 calls per day Connect rates: 12 right party contacts
per day, or ~8% Demo booking rates : Approximately 30. Based on the
territory performance Demo attendance rates: 50% or above BASIC
QUALIFICATIONS: 1 years of experience supporting sales in SaaS,
edtech, or an inside selling organization. Strong communicator with
the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively that
coincides with being able to know your audience. Ability to
prospect in a variety of contexts, including emails, phone calls,
events, in-person sales pitches, and other industry meetings.
Strong organizational skills that result in the completion of daily
tasks and successfully meeting all goals. ADVANCED QUALIFICATIONS:
Have a desire to work with an awesome product that you can sell
with enthusiasm. Have a proven track record of sales success.
Experience supporting sales in SaaS, Edtech, or an inside selling
organization is a plus. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Compensation: This
is an hourly role with an annualized base salary equivalent to
$50,000, plus $15,000 variable, OTE= $65,000 At Summit K12, we are

The posted salary range reflects the scope of the role and current
market benchmarks. Final compensation will be based on a variety of
factors, including, but not limited to, your experience, skills,
