The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsibilities: Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions Address a variety of responses to problems, questions or situations of an existing service running in production. Administer production monitoring of Micro services. Work closely with production support team and development team to resolve issues and deploy fixes. Remediate end of life and end of vendor support requests. Clearly articulate issue resolution and timeline dependencies. Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code Apply internal development standards when enhancing/fixing code. Leverage automation tools and processes for implementing micro services. Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging Serve as advisor or coach to new team member Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. . Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience implementing API Service (SOAP, REST) using frameworks such as Spring Boot for Microservices. Demonstrated issue resolution skills for high performing micro services in enterprise environment. 1-2 years of experience working with infrastructure and development groups in cloud environment. Experience in modern development tools and troubleshooting skills. Technical expertise in micro service full development life cycle. Experience working with Git, TortoiseSVN, or similar version-control systems. 1 year of experience with agile process. Effective communication is a must (written, verbal, inter personal). Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
