Operate a class A commercial vehicle to transport goods in a safe and efficient manner according to all government and company regulations. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure proper functioning of vehicle equipment. Manage routes and schedules effectively to optimize delivery times and reduce costs. Maintain accurate logs of driving times, deliveries, and rest periods as per federal and state regulations. Communicate consistently with dispatch and logistics teams to report any issues or changes in delivery schedules. Ensure all cargo is secured properly in compliance with safety policies and procedures. Review and verify invoices and inventory counts, ensuring accurate deliveries and documentation. Proficient in operating a commercial vehicle and securing cargo. Strong time management and navigation skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain composure and make decisions under pressure. Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
