available to join our team in support of the Department of
Justice’s (DoJ) groundbreaking program aimed at strengthening the
infrastructure, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving user
experience across US Marshals Service (USMS) districts. This IT
modernization initiative is a critical component of ensuring the
effectiveness and security of our nation’s law enforcement
operations. We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity
Engineer – Team Lead to join our team on this new contract. We

this transformative mission. The Opportunity: Lead a team of
cybersecurity engineers in implementing robust security frameworks
and practices. Drive the adoption of NIST RMF and other industry
standards to enhance the organization’s security posture. Innovate
and implement advanced incident response planning and threat
intelligence strategies. Ensure compliance with regulations and
standards through rigorous auditing and oversight. Enjoy a

growth and leadership development. Responsibilities: Implement and
oversee the NIST RMF (Risk Management Framework) to ensure
compliance with security standards and regulations. Utilize
vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus to identify and
mitigate security vulnerabilities across the organization. Develop
and maintain incident response plans to ensure rapid and effective
responses to security incidents. Integrate and manage threat
intelligence platforms to stay ahead of emerging threats and
enhance threat detection capabilities. Provide oversight and
leadership to a team of cybersecurity engineers, fostering a
collaborative and high-performing environment. Conduct regular
compliance audits using auditing tools to ensure adherence to
security policies and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional
teams to align cybersecurity strategies with business objectives
and IT strategies. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation
for cybersecurity processes, configurations, and procedures. Stay
current with emerging cybersecurity technologies, trends, and best
practices. Participate in the procurement and evaluation of
cybersecurity tools and software. Ensure compliance with industry
regulations and internal policies in all cybersecurity efforts.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of cybersecurity processes to
identify areas for improvement. Contribute to the continuous
improvement of cybersecurity strategies and methodologies. Engage
in knowledge-sharing activities and training sessions to enhance
team skills and capabilities. Qualifications: Required: Active DoD
Public Trust clearance or US citizen with ability to obtain Public
Trust upon hire Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years
of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer, with at least 3 years in
a leadership role. Proven experience in implementing and overseeing
the NIST RMF. Proficiency in using vulnerability scanning tools
such as Nessus. Strong skills in developing and maintaining
incident response plans. Experience with threat intelligence
platforms and integrating them into security strategies.
Demonstrated team leadership and oversight experience in
cybersecurity. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Desired:
Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security
Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or
equivalent. Experience with compliance auditing tools (e.g., RSA
Archer, ServiceNow). Knowledge of endpoint detection and response
(EDR) solutions. Familiarity with cloud security platforms (e.g.,
AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center). Experience with security
orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools. - What You

host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not
limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor
categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience,
specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

one location, the range shown is the national average for the
position. The proposed salary range for this position is:
