Product Director in Merchant Service External Reporting, you lead
innovation through the development of products and features that
delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your
advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove

that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking
solutions that address customer needs. Job responsibilities Build
and own the end-to-end strategy, vision, and multi-year roadmap for
external reporting channels, including Digital Reporting and
Reporting APIs, grounded in industry best practices and competitive
intelligence to ensure market differentiation and regulatory
readiness. Govern the reporting backlog; prioritize work and ensure
traceability from requirements through delivery. Define product
north stars, measurable outcomes, and investment priorities;
translate insights into phased delivery plans with KPIs and OKRs.
Own executive-level client communications for reporting, including
product demos, roadmap walkthroughs, escalations, and support for
existing issues and new requirements. Conduct ongoing product
surveys and structured listening programs to capture the Voice of
the Client and integrate feedback into the strategic roadmap and
quarterly planning. Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop
positioning, collateral, and tailored RFP responses. Represent
reporting capabilities in client pitches, due diligence, and
commercial negotiations; define and socialize value propositions,
use cases, and case studies that demonstrate client outcomes and
platform differentiation. Establish and govern eligibility criteria
for onboarding new clients to the modern reporting platform,
including data, security, integration, and SLA considerations.
Partner with the Migrations team to lead end-to-end migration
programs from legacy reporting to modern platforms, including
cutover planning, data validation, client readiness, post-migration
stabilization, and decommissioning plans for legacy capabilities to
reduce risk and total cost of ownership. Partner with Solutions,
SRE, and Engineering to design and deliver client-centric reporting
solutions and ensure day-to-day platform stability, availability,
performance, and security, including incident response, continuous
improvement, enhancements, A/B tests, and feature rollouts. Define
and track platform usage and product health metrics (adoption,
engagement, API usage, latency, error rates, NPS/CSAT) and produce
clear, data-driven executive updates on delivery, risk, budget, and
outcomes; build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team
and mentor product owners and program managers to scale best
practices in product discovery and delivery. Required
qualifications, capabilities, and skills 15 years of experience in
product management or platform leadership roles, including 5 years
leading enterprise-scale reporting, data delivery, or API products
in financial services or similarly regulated industries. Proven
track record defining product vision and multi-year roadmaps
informed by market analysis, client research, and competitive
intelligence. Demonstrated experience owning client communications
at executive levels, including demos, escalations, and commercial
discussions; strong storytelling and stakeholder influence skills.
Hands-on experience with modern data/reporting platforms, reporting
APIs, data governance, and enterprise integration patterns;
familiarity with observability tooling and SLO/SLA design. Strong
program leadership across migrations, decommissioning, and change
management in complex, multi-system environments. Quantitative
mindset with proficiency in product analytics, experimentation, and
KPI-driven prioritization. Excellent collaboration skills with
Sales, Marketing, Engineering, SRE, InfoSec, Legal/Compliance, and
Operations. Extensive knowledge of the product development life
cycle, technical design, and data analytics Proven ability to
influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities
including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements
definition, and value management Experience driving change within
organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Recognized
thought leader within a related field Strategic thinking and
executive presence Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in
Business, Computer Science, Data/Information Systems, or related
field preferred.
