the Systems Engineering Manager, you will lead the technical
direction of your Systems Engineering team. In collaboration with
the Sales Area Director, you and your team will foster
relationships with clients to aid in identifying and preventing
sophisticated cyber threats and breaches. Our clients rely on your
advice on which applications to implement from our platform. Your
expertise and mentorship will ensure your team of SEs stays ahead
of emerging cyber threats and maintains a cutting-edge approach to
prevention. We seek a leader to develop our presales teams by
providing training and technical support as a product expert. You
will also relay feedback to the product management team regarding
new feature requests and product enhancements based on insights
gained from your customers. Working with sales account managers,
your team will replace competitor technologies and expand market
share within your key accounts, ultimately giving clients peace of
mind by securing their digital transactions with our products.
Responsibilities Recruit, train, and mentor systems engineers
within the territory, ensuring team members are engaged and
successful in their careers. Establish and maintain relationships
with customers to solidify reference accounts and assist account
teams in developing plans to drive more business. Support the field
SE team with complex evaluations, proof-of-value exercises,
troubleshooting, and challenges encountered in client environments.
Deliver highly technical, strategic content to external audiences
to educate and empower our clients, partners, and employees.
Develop relationships with channel partners and their technical
teams to ensure they are properly trained and capable of supporting
our installations. Serve as an escalation point for technical
issues arising pre-sales and post-sales. Lead discussions on
industry trends and emerging changes in the security landscape that
customers need to plan for. Provide design consultation and best
practice mentorship during the 'pre-sales' process for strategic
opportunities, focusing on rollout, implementation, and policy
conversion. Offer onboarding, training, and mentoring to new and
established team members to maintain high technical proficiency and
independence. Influence the sales process by partnering with
clients and prospective clients to implement best practices in
their digital environments. Assist in defining the periodic SE
training curriculum. Support the Channel team in ensuring Partner
SEs are trained and capable of supporting Cato Networks' evaluation
installations. Collaborate with Product Management, Technical
Marketing, and R&D to develop requirements and product features
for large customers and provide feedback from customers.
Requirements Proven experience as a presales Systems Engineering
Manager leading a team of skilled technical professionals. In-depth
knowledge of security product market trends and awareness of our
roadmap and technology development efforts. Willingness to engage
with customers alongside your account teams. Demonstrated
leadership experience in a relevant discipline. General business
management skills. Passion for continuous learning in the
technology fields relevant to Cato Networks. Collaboration with
account executives and system engineering teams to define a
technical account plan for the region on a monthly, quarterly, and
yearly basis. Ability to deliver comprehensive security solutions
to clients, with a general understanding of competitive selling
strategies. Experience in developing System Engineering enablement
tools, such as training and demos. Strong written and verbal
