a Systems Administrator We’re looking for a proactive and
detail-oriented Systems Administrator to help operate, secure, and
evolve our hybrid infrastructure across Windows, AlmaLinux, and AWS
environments. In this role, you’ll ensure our business-critical
systems remain reliable, performant, and compliant with standards
like PCI and SOC 2. You’ll take ownership of automation,
monitoring, and incident response—empowering teams to innovate with
confidence while maintaining operational excellence. How You’ll
Contribute Administer Windows Server (2016–2022): AD, GPO,
DNS/DHCP, IIS; manage patching and hardening Administer
AlmaLinux/RHEL: systemd, SELinux basics, users/groups, storage,
networking, patching Operate AWS: EC2, S3, EBS, ELB/ALB, VPC
(subnets, routing, SGs/NACLs), IAM, CloudWatch
(logs/metrics/alarms), backups/DR Build automation and
configuration with Puppet; provision infrastructure with Terraform
Monitor availability and performance with Site24x7; create/run
runbooks; perform RCA and post-incident reviews Follow PCI DSS and
SOC 2 controls: least privilege, change management, patch cadence,
logging, access reviews, evidence collection Support application
rollouts across dev/test/prod; participate in capacity planning and
cost optimization in AWS Maintain documentation (standards,
diagrams, procedures) and contribute to continuous improvement
Participate in on-call rotation (approximately 1 week every 3
weeks) Strengths That Shine in This Role Strong ownership and
communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
across teams. Focus on automation and documentation, using tools
like Puppet, Terraform, and Site24x7 to enhance reliability and
efficiency. Calm and analytical under pressure, skilled in root
cause analysis and incident prevention. Disciplined operational
practices, including maintaining visibility in Jira/ServiceNow,
following clear runbooks, and contributing to continuous
improvement. Reliable participation in on-call support, ensuring
service continuity and responsiveness. Skills That Matter in This
Role 3–5 years in production systems administration across Windows
and Linux 2 years hands-on with AWS operations and security best
practices Proficiency with PowerShell and Bash; Git-based workflows
Practical experience with Puppet and Terraform Strong
troubleshooting across OS, network, and cloud layers; understanding
of VPNs, routing, load balancers, TLS Familiarity with ITSM and
change workflows using Jira and ServiceNow Security mindset and
experience operating under PCI and SOC 2 Education requirements:
Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent practical experience
Desired Certifications: AWS Associate (SysOps or Solutions
Architect), RHCSA/RHCE, Microsoft (Windows Server/AD) The following
are considered a strong asset: Scripting with Python; CI/CD
exposure Web stacks (IIS, Nginx/Apache), RDS basics, container
fundamentals VMware/Hyper?V experience; backup/restore tooling
