**Job Description****Job Title:** Guest Service Provider **Department:** Restaurant Operations **Reports To:** Shift Leaders, Assistant Managers and General Managers **FLSA Status:** Non-exempt **SUMMARY**This Golden Chick location is expanding and looking for an Guest Service Provider to join our team. If you would like to grow with us, then apply to be a part of our team. ****ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES***** Greets customers with a positive and friendly attitude * Enters orders into POS system, uses suggestive selling of food products to customers, receives payment (cash and credit card), makes change and maintains cash drawer * Presents orders to guests and ensures accuracy of order * Assists with ordering filling as needed * Reads monitor to identify products that need to be prepared * Notifies cook of special orders, shortages and needs * Other general duties include: minor food preparation, stocking of supplies, cleaning of dining room tables and restrooms, sweeping, mopping, discarding of trash and filling ice bins * Sets up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment as needed * Communicates with customers, team members and managers in a positive and professional manner * Maintains cleanliness on the service counter and order presentation counter * Maintains cleanliness, organization, and rotation of the display cooler * Observes health and sanitation guidelines and follows established procedures to meet high standards of cleanliness, health & safety protocols. * Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation and takes ownership of area * Looks for opportunities to assist fellow team members in an enthusiastic manner * Other duties as assigned * Must be willing to work variable schedules. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. ****SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES****This job has no supervisory responsibilities. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**Less than high school education, GED or high school degree preferred. **LANGUAGE SKILLS**Ability to comprehend simple instructions. **COMPUTER SKILLS**No skills are required. **REASONING ABILITY**Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. **CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**Must obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS**While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. **WORK ENVIRONMENT**While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat from cooking equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
