Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Care
Specialist (PRN) to join our dynamic team, committed to providing
exceptional respiratory care and treatments at our state-of-the-art
facilities. As a leading healthcare services provider, we rely on
the expertise of our respiratory team to offer comprehensive care

requires adaptability and a passion for patient care, as it
involves working across various settings within our nearly 2,000
sites of care, including hospitals and surgery centers. The
successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering
patient-centered respiratory services, engaging with
multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to our community-focused
health initiatives. Assess patient respiratory care needs and
develop appropriate treatment plans. Perform diagnostic tests such
as measuring lung capacity and monitoring oxygen levels. Administer
treatments like aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and
ventilator support. Educate patients and families about respiratory
health issues and treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare
teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in clinical
rounds with healthcare professionals, providing expert advice on
respiratory care. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to
healthcare regulations and standards. Proficiency in using
respiratory care equipment and tools. Strong analytical and
diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary
team. Strong crisis management and problem-solving skills. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory
Therapist (RRT) credential. Active state licensure as a respiratory
care practitioner.
