Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: Dallas, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,855 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of charge experience preferred License: ARRT R*, CNMT* Certifications: BLS, NMTCB Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Epic charting system experience preferred - Adult patient experience - On-call, floating, and holiday availability Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic tests using nuclear medicine technology. Responsibilities include administering radioactive substances and conducting imaging procedures. The role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, and radiology. Candidates should have experience with various imaging techniques, including nuclear cardiology and whole-body scans. Knowledge of storing and handling radioactive materials is essential. Candidates should be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment. The technologist will also be responsible for patient care and safety during procedures. Effective communication with patients and team members is critical. A commitment to continuous education and professional development is expected. Candidates must adhere to isolation precautions and PPE guidelines. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including weekend coverage.
