Methodist Health System is seeking a skilled Bio-Medical Technician 2 to join our dedicated team in delivering exceptional healthcare services. This role involves maintaining and servicing medical equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards. The successful candidate will be a crucial part of maintaining our commitment to high-quality care by ensuring all biomedical equipment is operating at its best, within our hospitals and clinics across Texas. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of medical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning biomedical equipment. Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Train healthcare staff on the proper use of biomedical devices. Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and safety tests. Collaborate with medical staff to optimize equipment usage. Strong technical skills in electronics and biomedical technology. Expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex medical equipment. Proficiency in using tools and diagnostic software for medical equipment maintenance. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) preferred. Any additional certifications related to healthcare technology or electronics.
