working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Tyler,
Texas, 75701! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

license required Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE preferred
Must-Have: - Previous travel experience required - Experience with
EPIC required Description: This position involves working in a NICU
setting. The nurse will care for neonates and infants. Patient
ratios can vary based on unit capacity. The unit has a maximum of
16 beds. Surgical procedures are limited to circumcisions and
frenectomy. Retinopathy of prematurity exams will be performed as
necessary. Donor breast milk is provided for specified patient
populations. Two full-time IBCLCs and lactation peer counselors are
available for support. Interdisciplinary support includes physical
therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Daily census
typically averages 7 patients. The unit is equipped with various
special medical equipment. Responsibilities include managing
ventilators and IVs, as well as providing care for conditions such
as respiratory distress and hypoglycemia. Skills in handling
neonatal abstinence syndrome and failure to thrive are essential.
Nurses are expected to follow isolation precautions and utilize
personal protective equipment as needed. This position does not
