Job Description:
Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for a
Physician Assistant to join our team in our Office Based Cardiac
Cath Lab Job Responsibilities: Required Qualifications Satisfactory
completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by
Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician
Assistant (ARC-PA) or one of its predecessor agencies, CAHEA or
CAAHEP Certification by the National Commission on Certification
for Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Current license to practice as a
Physician Assistant in the State of Texas. Minimum of 1 year of
recent (within the last 5 years) PA experience in cardiology,
endovascular surgery, or interventional radiology AHA approved ACLS
required Desired Qualifications At least 3 years’ working full time
in an Advanced Practice role in Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, or
Interventional Radiology in the last 5 years Specific experience as
an Advanced Practice Provider caring for patients with peripheral
arterial disease or cardiovascular disease Three years’ experience
within the last 4 years caring for patients with peripheral
arterial disease or cardiovascular disease Two years’ experience
within the last 5 years caring for the adult peripheral arterial
disease or cardiovascular disease population Demonstrated knowledge
of peripheral arterial disease or cardiovascular disease physiology
Demonstrates ability to independently manage complex care and a
panel of patients in an advanced practice role Experience with
wound care management and treatment of incision and drainage
Experience with interpretation imaging and testing modalities such
as ABIs, vascular ultrasound, and CT Angiography Demonstrated
expert analytical skills and ability to prioritize assignments and
manage a busy work environment Demonstrated clinical leadership as
evidence by committees, organization memberships, etc. Demonstrated
experience in process and quality improvement Compensation
Information: $130000.00 / Annually - $145000.00 / Annually
