Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. This
position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive home care
setting, where you can make a significant impact on the lives of
children with diverse healthcare needs. As a Pediatric OT, you will
provide vital therapy services tailored to each child's unique
challenges, focusing on improving their daily living and motor
skills to enhance their overall quality of life. This role requires
a creative approach to therapeutic intervention, a high degree of
flexibility, and a deep commitment to patient-centered care.
Evaluate the child's skills and needs and develop appropriate
occupational therapy treatment plans. Implement therapy
interventions tailored to each child's abilities and monitor
progress. Educate family members on different ways to help the
child develop skills throughout their daily routine. Collaborate
with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.
Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and reporting on
patient status to relevant parties. Stay current with new treatment
techniques and trends in pediatric occupational therapy. Strong
interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children and
their families. Ability to assess patient needs and craft
individualized treatment plans. Expertise in pediatric therapy
techniques and tools. Proficiency in maintaining accurate health
records and adhering to all privacy regulations. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state
license as an Occupational Therapist. National Board Certification
in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) as a Pediatric Specialist, or
eligible to obtain.
