Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler
School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities.
UT Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a skilled Urology Physician
with robotics experience to join our team in Athens, Texas. This
full-time position provides a balance of outpatient and inpatient
care, offering the opportunity to practice advanced
robotic-assisted urologic procedures while managing a diverse
patient population. The ideal candidate will be committed to
high-quality, patient-centered care and have experience with
robotic surgery. Requirements: Board-certified/board-eligible in
Urology. Robotics experience required (Da Vinci Robotic platform
preferred). About the Position: Patient Load : 20-25 patients per
day (outpatient & inpatient combined) Surgical Volume : 1- 5
surgical patients per week (robotic and non-robotic cases) Schedule
: Monday Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Call Schedule : 10 days per month and
1 weekend Smart Technology: See more patients without extending

improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding leading to better

Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in
East Texas and the seventh in The University of Texas System. Its
mission is to train future healthcare professionals to embrace
responsibility for the unique needs of rural and hard-to-reach
communities and populations, particularly those in East Texas. The
school offers a robust Graduate Medical Education program, with 20
residency and fellowship training programs, enabling graduates to
gain specialized skills in areas such as family medicine, internal
medicine, neurology, psychiatry, surgery, and anesthesia.
Additionally, UT Tyler s Master of Biotechnology program provides

Health System. The building is scheduled for completion in the fall
