PRN FLAT RATE AND COMPLETION BONUS OFFERED Seasonal Commitment Information - Full-time Seasonal weekly requirements are three 12-hour shifts for the 13-week contract (excludes 1st week of orientation) - $1,500 completion bonus for meeting minimum productive time - $51 Seasonal rate. - Eligible for shift differentials. $3.50 for evenings, $5 for nights, and $6 for weekends. These are stackable (as applicable by time/day) so if you worked a weekend night, you would be paid $51 $5 $6. - Weekend requirements are the same as regular FT- Rotating weekends - The first week is Monday- Friday orientation. - Although this is a short term (13 week) assignment, you would be a Baylor employee (not contractual, agency, etc.). The hope is that once the assignment is concluded, you will convert to a regular FT, PT, or PRN role Emergency Department Our Emergency Department unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. Emergency Department Patient Population: Adult, Pediatric, Geriatric Patient Ratios: 4:1, with time of patient surge 5:1 Number of Beds: 20 beds Department Specifics: Level 3 trauma center, Chest pain accredited center, stroke receiving center, average 100 patients per day, around 20-30 EMS ambulances per day. Lake Pointe is licensed for 176 beds which include three medical surgical units, an intensive care unit, Labor & Delivery, New Family Unit, Antepartum, Neonatal Intensive Care, Surgical Services, Cardiac Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and Emergency Department. The hospital carries multiple designations including Level III Trauma, Chest Pain Accreditation, Primary Stroke Accreditation, Maternal and Level III NICU. Qualifications - A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experience - 2yr ED RN experience - A valid Registered Nurse license - The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.
