Job Description - PRN FLAT RATE AND COMPLETION BONUS OFFERED - - - - Seasonal Commitment Information - Full-time Seasonal weekly requirements are three 12-hour shifts for the 13-week contract (excludes 1st week of orientation) - $1,500 completion bonus for meeting minimum productive time - $51 Seasonal rate. - Eligible for shift differentials. $3.50 for evenings, $5 for nights, and $6 for weekends. These are stackable (as applicable by time/day) so if you worked a weekend night, you would be paid $51 $5 $6. - Weekend requirements are the same as regular FT- Rotating weekends - The first week is Monday- Friday orientation. - Although this is a short term (13 week) assignment, you would be a Baylor employee (not contractual, agency, etc.). The hope is that once the assignment is concluded, you will convert to a regular FT, PT, or PRN role Our NICU unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. NICU Patient Population: Neonates Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:3 depending on acuity Number of Beds: 17 (13 of which are private rooms) Department Specifics: Level 3 NICU designation; Level 3 Maternal designation; NNP on-site 24/7; Opportunity to cross-train to New Family Unit (Post-Partum/Well-Baby Nursery) & L&D, Opportunity for RN’s to be involved in improvement projects, Shared Governance, department committees and councils. The hospital carries multiple designations including Level III Trauma, Chest Pain Accreditation, Primary Stroke Accreditation, Maternal and Level III NICU. Qualifications - A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experience - 2yr NICU RN experience - A valid Registered Nurse license - The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.
