Job Description:
Develops and distributes complex reporting and analysis in
support of Web Services. Provides technical infrastructure, data
analysis, and information support to senior management, using
Microsoft SQL Server, MS SQL Server Reporting Services, database
management, and .Net. Primary Responsibilities: Leads complex data sources via Extract Transform Load (ETL)
management. Works on cross functional project teams with business partners
in Sales, Relationship Management, Product, Marketing, and
Salesforce.com to support and serve as a subject matter expert. Leads data analysis for new requests and standard reporting. Creates and analyzes reports, using SQL reporting tools,
dashboards, querying tools, and self-service reporting to provide
value added insight and analytical support with innovative
solutions and information. Develops and distributes complex reporting and analysis
support. Provides value-added insight to Sales and Relationship
Management teams through the production of weekly, monthly, and
quarterly key performance management reporting. Performs requirements gathering and develops solutions to
complex business issues. Expands or modifies systems to serve new purposes or improve
work flow. Consults with management to ensure agreement on system
principles. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience performing business and systems analysis, using SQL
Server, and Microsoft integration and reporting services within the
financial services industry. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or
one (1) year of experience performing business and systems
analysis, using SQL Server, and Microsoft integration and reporting
services within the financial services industry. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing business analysis of
sales applications containing information on branch, region, and
client interactions (calls, emails, and meetings) for financial
advisors using Microsoft SQL Server; managing the migration of data
from staging environments in SQL through data mapping exercises,
using Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services; and
simplifying complex business logic using SQL Server Integration
Services. DE performing data analytics to develop comprehensive management
sales reporting; coordinating business requirements planning
sessions to understand business, functional, and technical
requirements to produce self-service scorecards in SQL Server
Reporting Services; building dashboards -- Sales and Ranking --
using SQL Service Reporting Services to enable sales management
members to stack rank account executives and assist in compensation
and performance ratings. DE establishing data quality governance through the
documentation of database objects and metadata; analyzing end user
report usage using SQL Service Reporting Services; and establishing
internal policies for developers to follow industry best
practices. DE defining, interpreting, and clarifying the scope of complex
business requirements into logical use cases, epics, and stories
according to Agile project lifecycle methodologies using JIRA; and
improving the implementation speed of project execution, coding
principles, and data quality measures, using industry standard
principles -- normalization -- to achieve completeness, accuracy
