So what do you say? Are you ready to be part of something big? Store Cashiering is responsible for all transactions related to customer payments received at store locations. The Store Cashiering Specialist is responsible for daily posting entries, ensuring service level agreements are met, assisting with special projects, and being a subject matter expert in all core processes. Organizational Relationships: Interacts with internal customers at various levels, peers, and management. Job Responsibilities: Complete daily transaction processing. Work directly with store accounting associates to complete transactions and GL balancing. Work directly with AutoNation payment vendors. This includes (but not limited to) CenPos, Cross Check, Chase Paymentech, American Express, Synchrony, SunBit, and Revolution Parts. Identify potential opportunities for BOS process ownership. Any additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Intermediate computer and Microsoft Office skills. Minimum 1 year accounting experience, preferably in a Cash Management role. Thorough understanding of accounting knowledge and practices; able to tell difference between debit and credit, complete journal entries, and reconcile entries. Provide professional and courteous communications to BOS, store associates, and external vendors. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member in a deadline-driven environment. Highly organized with excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities. Demonstrates personal credibility by taking responsibility for actions and being reliable and trustworthy. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Next Possible Position: Store Cashiering Sr. Specialist Physical Requirements: This is a largely sedentary role with extended period looking at computer monitors and using a keyboard and mouse.
